Why should I report an Issue with RockScout, by MirrorLink®?

1. Shame...works great when u click YouTube it does say no content found but you have to click the arrow at the top left corner and it goes to YouTube and you can navigate it just fine you might have to have YouTube open in the background on your phone first before connecting worked good for me once I figured out I needed to click the arrow thanksWorked once-though it was cumbersome.

2. I have to open the phone app and exit for it to start playing the musicIt has become RESTRICTED APP for mirror link and switches off while driving... irritating and distracts my attention.

3. Looking forward to further updates!Works ok with my S10 and DS3 but it mutes the music instantly when i first load up rockscout then spotify.

4. They know about this and are working on a new update, disappointed as can't access spotify in the car!Works well via USB in my 2018 TOYOTA C-HR.

5. Can't launch any apps from it, just get an error telling me to connect the app via mirror link first.

6. Have a galaxy s7 edge and connecting to my seat ateca I just click on the app and it flashes a black screen and nothing.

7. Could you do sth about it,pls.Really good .use through honda connect play spotify through head unit dont know what all the negative reviews are for.

1. Fix RockScout, Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart RockScout,: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the RockScout, App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RockScout," » Open RockScout, by MirrorLink® » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RockScout, » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear RockScout, by MirrorLink® app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RockScout, servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RockScout, by MirrorLink®" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check RockScout, app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RockScout, might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall RockScout,. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RockScout, then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RockScout, not working

2. Fix RockScout, Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RockScout, be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RockScout, not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RockScout, may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
