1. (Also had some good recommendations for products and services.) However, the articles have gotten extremely vitriolic and divisive over the last year and I now feel personally attacked by just about every opinion piece.

2. & I've been having a technical issue with my account, resulted in a deactivation and now I'm not able to have an account anymore, so there's a bug in your protection software and have no way to reach a help representative.

3. The first time it happened, I went through all the apps running in the background to see what was playing the obnoxious sound and after closing all of them, it turned out to be buzz feed.

4. Any ad ive seen on the screen is either a static ad that looks to not make noise or is a video that is already muted so I don't know what the hell is making noise but I wish it'd stop.Pretty good app.

1. Fix BuzzFeed Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BuzzFeed: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BuzzFeed App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BuzzFeed" » Open BuzzFeed - Quizzes & News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BuzzFeed » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BuzzFeed - Quizzes & News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BuzzFeed servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BuzzFeed - Quizzes & News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BuzzFeed app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BuzzFeed might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BuzzFeed. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BuzzFeed then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BuzzFeed not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BuzzFeed be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BuzzFeed not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BuzzFeed may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
