1. Jaguar InControl Apps enables you to use vehicle optimised smartphone apps on the vehicles touch screen by connecting your smartphone with a USB cable to the dedicated InControl Apps USB port.

2. Once connected, the apps on the vehicle's touch screen have the same look and feel as they do on your smartphone.

3. A variety of approved vehicle optimised apps such as: Contacts, Calendar and Music Player will be available, with more third party vehicle optimised apps becoming compatible over time for a continually fresh and personal user experience.

1. Better to use in-built sat nav and Bluetooth did music.Jaguar you are so close with this one! in my opinion this has the potential to be better than both mirrior link and Android connect! I hate the skins on both, Jaguar Apps is clean and the spotify controls are much better than both the aformentioned Apps.

2. Jaguar should stick to building cars and not dabbling in apps, especially when there are perfectly good solutions off the shelf (e.g. Android Auto and Apple Car Play).

3. They'd better remove it from the store.On my car Spotify crashes the system in the car, displaying only a black screen when Incontrol Apps is selected and not recovering until the car is turned off and on.

4. Very annoyed with removal of Spotify, so downgraded rating to 1 star.Have to say the choice of apps on here are absolutely abysmal, this is a waste of space really.

5. Useless and was a waste of my time trying it out.Limited number of compatible apps lets this down.

6. Would be a much better app if I could choose what I'd like to use when connected through this, like Waze or Google Maps, Spotify - although that's been removed now, soundcloud etc... Will be uninstalling until I hear of a significant improvement of the app.Waste of time, don't bother.

7. With Tom Tom and Spotify apps being discontinued, without any real reasons given, there's little point in using this app.

8. Spotify has recently disappeared from the list, the Music app is redundant as is the Contacts app, the car/phone take care of those functions, the Memo app has disappeared, but then that never worked in the first place, and the Calendar app doesn't have much use anyway.

9. Very limited number of apps (14 at the time of this review), 3 of which are SatNav apps (none of which work properly) and most of the rest pretty uninspiring.

10. TomTom have failed to keep their app up to date, it doesn't work with Android 9 This is an awful system (made by Bosch and called mySpin), JLR knows it and Android Auto has replaced it in newer models.

11. If Jaguar put some effort into developing this app and adding more compatible apps then using this could be a much better experience.

1. Fix Jaguar InControl Apps Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Jaguar InControl Apps: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Jaguar InControl Apps App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Jaguar InControl Apps" » Open Jaguar InControl Apps » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Jaguar InControl Apps » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Jaguar InControl Apps app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Jaguar InControl Apps servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Jaguar InControl Apps" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Jaguar InControl Apps app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Jaguar InControl Apps might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Jaguar InControl Apps. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Jaguar InControl Apps then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Jaguar InControl Apps not working

2. Fix Jaguar InControl Apps Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Jaguar InControl Apps be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Jaguar InControl Apps not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Jaguar InControl Apps may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
