1. Bandcamp is an online record store and music community where passionate fans connect with and directly support the artists they love.
2. The Bandcamp app lets you explore a vast catalog of music by artists from every corner of the globe, allows you to directly support the artists you love by buying their music and merch, and lets you instantly listen to the music you've purchased, whether you're online or offline.
1. Only suggestion would be, if you click on an album on the featured or music feed pages, unless the band has a large discography at the bottom, then there is no link to an artist's or label's main page, so you have to use the search option to find it.
2. The developers update the app frequently with new features and ideas, so I can certainly see this being fixed.Bandcamp is a great way to host your music while also making money, however from my own personal experience of using this app there could be so improvements on ui.
3. I do prefer to pay artists through Bandcamp though vs iTunes, Amazon, or YouTube, but you really have to know what you're doing to make your purchases work. This app is wonderful for finding new music and supporting artists.
4. The only nitpicks I have with it is I have to start at the the beginning of an album to shuffle all of the tracks without excluding some (which didn't happen before), there isn't a custom order option like there is on the browser website, and no dark mode.
5. Will change to 5 stars if/when the music feed becomes more usable.I love supporting artists and the music, but the app is exceptionally bad.
6. It's completely counterintuitive with no instructions, things randomly don't (or do) show up in collections, no dark mode, for some reason you have to buy one album at a time apparently, I've never gotten collections to work right...It's a good app.
7. maybe a 2nd change would be to fix the search section more personal for the individual somehow. This is a great app for music, and I always prefer to buy something on here first.
8. Give me a way to filter out certain types of posts (this applies to the web site version of the music feed, too.) Most times, I don't care if someone also bought something I bought three weeks ago.
9. Other than that small annoyance, this app is fantastic! As much as I love Bandcamp and supporting artists directly, the app seems like an afterthought.
10. By far my favorite music app! Super easy to navigate and I have found tons of great bands I had never heard of over the years.
11. Not only that Bandcamp doesn't offer much customization for listening experience, plays lists and queuing songs is about it.
