Why should I report an Issue with TREAD Map?

1. If the map showed trail names 5 🌟I haven't even had a chance to use the app and have already found a bug in the registration form: In the box to create your initial password, it stops after 8 characters (any thing you type after that just doesn't show up).

2. Some issues: after re-syncing the data the help guide comes up each time, my keypad keeps popping up for some reason, would be nice if the trail list (left-right scroll window) would dock down (minimize).I fail to see the usefulness of this app.

3. Live tracking on trails with many users.Good experience for tracking and information about trails, trailheads.Bloatware and confusing.

4. UPDATE 8/21/20 looks like most of the issues have been fixed, going to go try the virtual ride again tomorrow.

7. It took me a minute to figure out why I was getting an error saying that my passwords weren't matching.I like the map-centric design.

1. Fix TREAD Map Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TREAD Map: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TREAD Map App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TREAD Map" » Open TREAD Map » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TREAD Map » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TREAD Map app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TREAD Map servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TREAD Map" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TREAD Map app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TREAD Map might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TREAD Map. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TREAD Map then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TREAD Map not working

2. Fix TREAD Map Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TREAD Map be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TREAD Map not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TREAD Map may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
