I recommend getting this app if you play both modes equally and don't want to download two separate apps.So I started using this app on my secondary idevice, just so I could keep track of my fortnite challenges which I felt like it was the best use of the app... I love the idea behind the app but really the app is very clunky.

2. The basic layout and gui needs an overhaul before I can rate 5 stars.Usually good for comparing weapon stats, but sharp tooth shotgun and explosive repeater rifle aren't showing up as options, and heavy sniper isn't showing as vaulted yet.

3. You won't.This is an amazing companion mainly for STW but has some great BR features as well! The ads are non-intrusive and can even be disabled for a low price! If it's a bad time, just postpone it! There is some minimal features locked behind the supporter status, but I wouldn't mind paying for them if I could afford to support the developer.

4. there should really be a long press to be able to select a week completed, and possibly some haptic vibration feedback just to let you know you're actually doing something on the app half the time you tap on the screen and there's a pretty big delay between what actually gets elected and what doesn't the touch targets are very small on top of it.

5. Nice being able to check my stats in both modes without downloading two separate apps.

6. No option to update the app.used to send me notifications every time there was vbuck missions but hasn't sent a single notification in 5 months.

7. In the STW section, I can check my profile stats, hero stats, compare weapons, and see mission alerts.

8. Best Fortnite tracker yet.They actually update it! Need's to have the prestige challenges after the regular missions.

9. I would honestly be willing to pay decent money for an app redesign that was worth it.The app is very useful if you play Save the World.

1. Fix Companion Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Companion: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Companion App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Companion" » Open Companion for Fortnite » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Companion » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Companion for Fortnite app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Companion servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Companion for Fortnite" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Companion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Companion might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Companion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Companion then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Companion not working

2. Fix Companion Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Companion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Companion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Companion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
