1. You select then it spins just like it has no internet. The latest version is not compatible to my Anova Precision Suos Vide Cooker, it won't connect to the device.
2. Goes through the pairing process, connects via temp internet, sous vide makes a sound like it connects, but then it either can't find networks to connect to or can't connect to available networks.
3. But the app should automatically check and see if your phone's bluetooth is off and let you know, instead of giving a generic "can't connect" message.Good concepts, but has problems keeping up with the status of the sous vide.
4. The method used within the app doesn't seem to work, so I have to put the device in pairing mode, launch app while in Internet, manually connect to the device's wifi, then try to connect and hope it works.
5. Also it consistently loses connection to the ANOVA so whenever I pull up the app after letting the phone sit idle it has to go back and find the device.Stopped connecting to internet all of a sudden.
6. It eventually worked, but seems flakey, periodically not showing the same "current temperature" on the app as on the device itself.Lately the app has been forgetting my ANOVA device, and I have to jump through many hoops to reconnect.
7. It took my husband and I renaming our WiFi, unplugging and restarting the sous vide multiple times and backing up every time it got stuck.
8. I had to reconnect my phone, app and Anova cooker -- and that process took about 15 mins, despite my phone and cooker within a foot of each other, and in my house with an excellent WiFi signal.
9. Should really look into that, along with allowing the device to be shared with others in the household.Edit: unfortunately, I am changing the app from five Stars to one star as it will not connect to the device and therefore is 100% not functional.
10. It took a long time just to get it to connect to the sous vide.
11. it's given me a good start to how to cook things in the sous vide.
