This is a problem since there are events that Wikipedia (understandably) doesn't consider worth listing, that I want to add for myself, but this arbitrary limit severely hinders customization; 2)There should be a way to set notifications to trigger one day (ideally more) before a certain date or event, or at least show up in the widget.I use this App every day.

3. Thanks again Alex!Recently I became more and more intrigued with history and I even planned on making a calendar in which I would record historical events and with that have an overview over every day.

4. Today, half a year later, I stumbled across this app that not even fulfills my expectations, but even exceeds it! (It's even available in many different languages...!) I highly recommend this app!!!Awesome app that really shines when it's teaching you about historical events you never knew happened.

5. Also more widget colors and/or font color.I love this app but it's expensive to upgrade which is a pity as it's brilliant to use with facts, images and lots of information concisely presented.Very educational and well presented.

6. If possible in a future update I'd like to see a feature to filter what events you'd like to see, for example, events/births/deaths from the US (only 🫣🫢),celeb or more positive events.

7. Kudos to the developer for building a good no nonsense app.Whenever I get a notice of something that looks interesting then go to it I am annoyed that I can't find the event or date that I got the notice for.

11. However there's a few things I want to point out: 1)When creating a custom event, you cannot go further back than 1900.

1. Fix Historical Calendar Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Historical Calendar: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Historical Calendar App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Historical Calendar" » Open Historical Calendar » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Historical Calendar » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Historical Calendar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Historical Calendar servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Historical Calendar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Historical Calendar app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Historical Calendar might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Historical Calendar. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Historical Calendar then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Historical Calendar not working

2. Fix Historical Calendar Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Historical Calendar be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Historical Calendar not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Historical Calendar may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
