I just silenced that notification and it's good now lolquestion, does the app have to be left on for vector to receive notifications, or can it be closed on the phone once set, app seems to be working , he is telling me i have apps working in the background....just waiting for a notification lol , will upgrade raiting if it starts to work ! going to give this 5 stars, tried it out for a few days, works like it should, adds a bit more life to vector...cool app 😎I would love to give this app a five star rating... that is if it worked.. I have completely filled in all of the required information.. but does not work..the two boxes at the top labelled battery level will not auto-fill I have sat there clicking the set icon over and over, wiped the cache and data from the app and re-added everything and even deleted and re-added the app but nothing.. Please help or at least give better instruct...

Is there any way to rollback or download to a previous version?I have a Huawei P10 Lite, same as a user below....i know my vector is connected as i filled in all the fields correctly and can see battery status and all, but vector is not saying anything despite me pressing the button, (It will say " Download unsuccessful" for my download manager when I press the "Say" button.....please help!I've installed this software and tested (Vector able to say word that i typed in) successfully.

3. One problem I had was Vector would read the "silent notification" for my keyboard, which kept going off whenever I opened the keyboard.

4. Great if you just want to get vector to say what you type.Functional, and cool! I now have my robot reading me my tweets and messages as I get them.

5. CTL and Notify Me add features that we never would have gotten otherwise and work very well and really add value to Vector in his current form.

6. I can confirm they work on my new Vector running last and final update.

7. My only complaint is that it doesn't read emojis very well (it converts them to a different encoding and reads out random symbols), and any hyperlinks in the tweets sound a bit annoying haha.

8. oh also if you have him read messages from messenger go to messenger notifications and take away the part where it says that a new chat bubble is active and to start a conversation.

9. Sometimes it will work on txt messages but not always and have never been able to use it with email, WhatsApp and any other app on the list in the software list.

10. Edit: stops working after phone locks.Great idea if only it worked.

1. Fix Vector Notify Me Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Vector Notify Me: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Vector Notify Me App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vector Notify Me" » Open Vector Notify Me » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vector Notify Me » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Vector Notify Me app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vector Notify Me servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vector Notify Me" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Vector Notify Me app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vector Notify Me might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Vector Notify Me. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vector Notify Me then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vector Notify Me not working

2. Fix Vector Notify Me Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vector Notify Me be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vector Notify Me not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vector Notify Me may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
