American Airlines Customer Insights

1. Now, our return flight is delayed, but it shows "on time", and incorrect gate number no matter how many times I refresh the screen.I'm a frequent Delta flyer and experienced AA today.

2. Half the time you load it up it doesn't even know you have a flight booked and you need to manually enter your flight confirmation number.

3. If this app isn't good for doing that, what is it even good for...? Somehow after checking in at kiosk and printing a boarding pass it then also showed up on the app, and i guess it's a handy way to keep updated trip ref...I love that the app sends reminders for early check-in.

4. It is simple to check 'Miles' and other promotions but booking travel is my main need.Overall, I like using the AA app and find it especially useful when planning trips in advance.

5. Today the "please remember" screen just keeps coming up over and over and over at check in after I click "got it" so I can't check in for my flight using the app.

6. Currently trying to use this app to get a mobile boarding pass, but it will only show me a boarding pass from a cancelled flight from yesterday.

7. If your gate changes this application doesn't update the boarding pass.

8. However, on my last 2 trips, scanning my passport to check in on the app was frustrating and time consuming.

9. It is particularly vexing when your dealing this while your flight is delayed and also an adjoining flight so figuring out where to go after first flight is... difficultOverall pretty good.

10. However, currently when I try to check in, i get an infinite loop of the "please remember / you're booked in basic economy" screen.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix American Airlines Issues

1. Fix American Airlines Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart American Airlines: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

  • I logged out of my American Airlines app on my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, and logged back in with my wife's login. I then trying to log back in with my account and it will not allow me to. It gives me an error message that my login information is incorrect. I have changed my password 5 times, and deleted and re-installed the Mobile App 5 times, and nothing is working. I can login to my account through the browser app at aa.com, but the App is not allowing me to login. This needs to be corrected ASAP since I travel every 2-3 weeks with American Airlines and use it a lot.
