1. Roam the streets of Montreal with this application to immerse yourself in the city’s history, with over 60 unique items to discover (points of interest and augmented reality segments).
2. At night, enjoy Cité Mémoire’s twenty different projected tableaux created by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon in collaboration with Michel Marc Bouchard.
3. It will lead you to fascinating encounters with both unknown and famous personalities who bring to life the richness and complexity of Montreal through time.
4. Cité Mémoire is a poetic creation inspired by the history of Montreal.
5. Before your visit, download this application and its content (in whole, or one circuit at a time).
1. Again, good idea, but frustrating, nearly evening ruining delivery.after being required to download a large file to open the map, each time you want to listen to a short clip on a historic location you have to download that too! takes ages and is impractical if trying to use this app walking around the citySuch a fun way of exploring the city.
2. not recommended. This was amazing! We walked around for three hours one night going from yellow house to yellow house! Make sure to use the free Montreal wifi, download ALL the houses first and set your language to English.
3. In one night we managed to see all but three of the yellow house videos, but still tonnes of blue dots to see! Wish we had this in other cities too.I really enjoyed the walkthrough of Old Montreal at night.
4. Clearly the app works if you follow one of the walking tours but not if you are just walking around and landing at one place or another.great idea, horroble execution first its a navigation app tbat never asks for location permission, but is very confusion to use without it.
5. To get the 4th star, solving the startup issues would suffice but for the 5th, a section of continuous VR, where you follow a VR guide through the city in 1 long stretch.. and also extend the length of light projections at night.I was unable to use the map.
6. I would suggest that the map be improved, it doesn't shift when you change direction and makes it difficult navigating the streets if you are unfamiliar with the area.Very hard to understand how it works (counterintuitive), the location is not always acccurate.
7. The projections stop at 23h, when night live is at its peak in Old Montreal.
8. second, the audio and video have little to do with each other (e.g.building of city audio, about a minute, projected video, several times longer).
9. third, putting time bounds on the availability of the information makes it impossible to use at other times.
10. Standing in front of one of the historical buildings I looked for a list so that I could access information about it.
11. first, it does not provide navigation information.
