Why should I report an Issue with MAPinr - KML/KMZ/OFFLINE/GIS?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of XYLEM Technologies to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. I have seen that is there a way in the settings menu, but when we switched the kml storage into the SD card, nothing seemed to be working anymore... Also, in the mapin folder automatically created into the internal storage when the app is installed, all the photos taken go directly into the "images" folder inside this one, but also they go into the main "mapin" folder as wellSince latest update the app doesn't work properly It doesn't accept to open any kmz file stored on my device and it couldn't import the kml & kmz database of the older versionConfusing app.

Good luck!Very good and useful Suggestion : There should be some options to add date stamp or just to show the date of the photos (I have multiple photos taken on different time in a same waypoint and I do need to see the date of the photo but I cant)Is there anyway to switch the storage location (we use an android tablet who has only 8gb internal storage).

3. e.g. the app has the ability to create a folder within kmz, but no way to move existing elements into those folders !!the last update is so bad; it deleted all my map data I saved in the last 6 months... the app doesn't respond, is so slowly, all good functions I loved had been removed... the ambicious to be premium is the ending for this...At first i liked it but within a day of usage it already crashed more than 20 times for me.

4. I wish you could work with Maps.me as they don't have the functionality of showing different icons (the same as from the Google MyMaps), but downloading the offline maps seems better.

5. Only work around seems to be to save the KMZ locally first, then use a file explorer to share the file.

6. UninstallingAfter working with it for a few days, this has become my favourite app ... a very convenient and efficient way to manage and share your GPS waypoints and tracks.

7. This is a very useful app for anyone that needs to create custom map, with markers, shapes and photos.

8. An option to change the crosshair from black to white or better still red, would solve this issue.Completely inscrutable and over-complicated user interface.

1. Fix MAPinr Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MAPinr: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MAPinr App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MAPinr" » Open MAPinr - KML/KMZ/OFFLINE/GIS » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MAPinr » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MAPinr - KML/KMZ/OFFLINE/GIS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MAPinr servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MAPinr - KML/KMZ/OFFLINE/GIS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MAPinr app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MAPinr might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MAPinr. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MAPinr then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MAPinr not working

2. Fix MAPinr Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MAPinr be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MAPinr not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MAPinr may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
