Why should I report an Issue with Starfall?

1. My son stop using another device that I brought the Starfall on and when I go to login on the new device it gives me an error message.This good as it encourages my sister to work,but it would be good if you could have a parents control in which you can lock certain activities for learning and unlock as a reward.Without , this it's inconvenient since my sister keeps secretly going to where she can dress up her character and the games for the higher years, so most of the time, she's not doing any real learning.

2. Please never get rid of this wonderful app! Lots of teens around the world will be upset since their childhood will be ruined!Very productive in terms of my children learning their letters,colours,shapes and numbers, including songs, educational activities and more.Wonderful App with lots to do.it is user-friendly, my children can navigate it themselves without help.

3. Customer service was entirely useless, and might have simply been a Chat GPT bot based on how poorly it understood me.My daughter always wanted to get on this app it was so amazing she learned her abc really fast.Brings back so many memories from Kindergarten.

4. I got it for my grandchildren because it's excellent but now it's a monthly cost that's 3 times it's yearly amount 😢This app brings back so many memories from my childhood.

5. It was a nice way to go back down memory lane.Attempted to sign up my daughter's managed account using Family Library.

6. We love Starfall! The material isn't too easy, but it's also not more advanced than my daughter... so she is able to use it on her own if I need to step away for any reason.

7. But,apart from that, it's good,even though the dressing up feature is in most of the separate apps.If you're like me and also homeschooling during the pandemic & you're on the fence, this is your sign: Get the membership.

8. So glad they expanded into the higher grade levels!Terrible, the interface is old.

9. 2022 update: they've added a 4th and fifth grade section, which I am grateful for.

10. It is not as challenging for my 5th grader as I had hoped, and it has a few small glitches still that I'm sure they will iron out with time.

1. Fix Starfall Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Starfall: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Starfall App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Starfall" » Open Starfall » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Starfall » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Starfall app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Starfall servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Starfall" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Starfall app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Starfall might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Starfall. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Starfall then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Starfall not working

2. Fix Starfall Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Starfall be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Starfall not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Starfall may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
