1. This is an app that displays a list of the logical fallacies that haunt every rationalists' mind. - Share function -> Long press a fallacy to share it.
2. Never accept a logical fallacy, attack the attacker, and spread logic and reason to those you love. Ok, enough rambling.
3. Honesty is the first virtue, so let's be painfully honest towards those who attempt to use language as a form of mental abuse.
4. Steel yourselves, and begin to defend your mind from the language used against you by the sophists of the world.
5. Use this app to quickly look-up the logical fallacies we face when debating against the irrational.
6. They are many, we are few, but with the Logical Defense app, we now have an extra tool in our box of rationality.
7. Call out those who are logically flawed and help to build a more rational society.
8. Feel free to leave your comments/suggestions.
9. Thank you for downloading!
10. UPDATE: 28 Nov 2016 -> Thanks very much to everyone who has downloaded the app, I have seen an incredible uptake in users over the past few weeks.
1. I would also like to add that I appreciate the time and effort that the developer(s) put into providing this application FREE to the world! So cool shows a bunch of fallacy's with clear definitions, great examples, and nice interface.
2. Not just EXPERTS.It provides clear examples of logical fallacies, it not amazingly interactive so truly learning and applying them is difficult but it's an excellent start.Doesnt really do anything but tell you what some things are, not sure what to call them.
3. It's all good information, but just not worth an "app".It's a nice reference guide that provides good examples for each fallacy.
4. For example, "Appeal to Spite" is this apps name for the "Ad Hominem" fallacy.
5. One such from this was "appeal to authority" basicly just telling you what it is and giving you a small example.
6. Describes beople biases I guess, or rather the type of information being used in an arguement and giving an example.
7. No need to take a full star away for such a small detail. There's really not much here other than a few pages of content with different fallacies and their descriptions.
8. For Example Appeal To Authority, that also apply to those who are FAMOUS such as celebrities, sports etc.
9. thank you developers, sincerely. This application is truely thorough!! It has helped me numerous times to provide a direct example and explanation.
10. It would be nice to match some of the provided examples to the correct fallacy to test for understanding.
11. saves you the time to google and look for fallacies, as well as it makes it so much easier for you to analyze other people's argument.
