1. I told the restaurant dont worry i'll just get a refund, but the app has no way to contact anyone about issues like this and so I simply lost my money...Great concept (I found this app after using Too Good To Go in the UK), though the app unfortunately feels quite amateurish with layout bugs and typos everywhere.
2. Not sure if they have some requirements for the restaurants or so but the experiences so far don't really motivate me to keep using the appSuch a great concept, was super keen to get behind it.
3. Some of the more obvious mistakes: the app title is 'YWaste, ywaste, y waste, Y Waste, whywaste'; the notifications show only a title and no content; store descriptions contain typos; spacing around punctuation is inconsistent. This App is a wonderful idea, thank you! The idea deserves more than 5 stars.
4. The only downside I can imagine is using it in areas with less participating vendors, and therefore not finding suitable meals.I love the concept and have been quite happy using the app in Sydney CBD.
5. when I did get the food home, I found that I had 3 portions plain steamed rice and a tiny portion of butter chicken! the dish wasn't even full.
6. Just be careful of dishonest crooks!!The idea to hand out leftover food instead of wasting it is great.
7. But I couldn't see many options for Perth and I kind of felt that that some restaurants and cafes are just using it as a extra form of advertising.
8. It gives you a reason to try new places for cheap, and the food was always great.
9. I used it 15-20 times (sometimes I bought more than one meal at once) over a month in Sydney, mostly in CBD and Haymarket, and always had great experience.
10. Just have to try each restaurant and keep track of which ones goes on the blacklist.Love the concept.
11. Hence, I often found the value of the meal not a good deal at all.
