About ZArchiver
1. The app doesn't have permission to access the internet, so cannot transmit any information to other services or persons. - Extract split archives: 7z, zip and rar (7z. 001, zip. 001, part1. - UTF-8/UTF-16 support for filenames allows you to use national symbols in filenames. ATTENTION!
2. ZArchiver - is a program for archive management (including managing of application backups in archives).
3. A: Select all the files you want to compress by clicking on icons (from the left of filenames).
4. A: The contents of some archives may be encrypted and the archive can only be opened with the password (don't use the phone password! ).
5. Click on the first of selected files and choose "Compress" from menu.
6. A: Send me an email with detailed description of the problem.
7. You can send them by email or just leave a comment here.
8. Set desired options and press the OK button.

ZArchiver Customer Insights
1. I use this app to unzip the folder and place the file in a location that my emulator can read and run the file 100% problem free! This is the only app I ever use for that and it works great.. plus has the option to delete files completely without leaving anything else to delete later, definitely recommend!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐When I first got a new tablet, I found it weird that the files were empty.
2. It's really easy to use and I would give it a 5 star rating with no complaints at all, but there's one bug that causes me to reinstall this app everytime, it's a bug where if I copy a file, the file gets corrupted and the file will be 0B also known as 0 bites, I want to share some files with my friend but this is a really annoying bug and I would like it to be fixed.
3. Likely an issue with Android ITSELF, since another file manager app I've been using now has the same issue.Very reliable app.. can unzip folders to enable functionality.
4. I'll also occasionally run into an issue with the default file manager where I can't move files to a specific location.
5. I can manage android files better than with the default file manager.
6. Actually about the only one that does what I need which is open zip files from Google Drive and load the embedded text file into a different app.
7. Otherwise, it is an amazing app and my number one choice for a file manager! 🙂👏This is a great app; it's been solid and reliable for the couple of years I've used it.
8. It would be nice to have a setting that lets you control how long a tap must be before the folder is archived.The latest update brought so many customisation options, but whenever I enable "show hidden files" to access them, I have to close the app and open it.
9. I can 𝘚𝘌𝘌 the files I normally can't because of the changes made in Android 11 (thanks Google), but I can't actually CHANGE anything in those folders.
10. This is a really good file manager, but there is one tiny bug... Whenever I try to overwrite a file and the old file was bigger than the new file, there will be extra room on the end of the file, but it's basically just corrupted data.
11. Works when I download file to my phone first but not directly from Drive.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ZArchiver Issues
1. Fix ZArchiver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart ZArchiver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the ZArchiver App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ZArchiver" » Open ZArchiver » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ZArchiver » click "UPDATE".
- Clear ZArchiver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ZArchiver servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ZArchiver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check ZArchiver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ZArchiver might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall ZArchiver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ZArchiver then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ZArchiver not working
2. Fix ZArchiver Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ZArchiver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ZArchiver not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ZArchiver may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
