1. My favorite feature is that you can edit the words if, for example, you want to add synonyms to the definition or examples (not all words come with built-in examples and you might come across examples elsewhere that seem more relevant for you).I'm always on the road, so the hands-free option is really great.
2. Choose from different sets of words, includes French pronunciation and examples, offline use, reminders, and different review formats (e.g. text response, multiple choice).
3. The sentence context helps w long term memorization.I like some things about it, but there are two big drawbacks for me: they don't show all the conjugations when learning new verbs; and while it's nice that they give a lot of examples of new words, most of the examples are too advanced to be useful.
4. Its like 6 bucks and well worth it.It provided all the things I am looking for which are the following: pronunciation, l'ortographe, notifications to practice, and examples on *most* words.
5. You are able to select categories, the pronunciation quality is excellent, it uses helpful algorithms to help you memorize more efficiently, and you can remove words you don't care to learn.
6. And now, after a recent update, I notice the GENDER of the words is now required when practicing, and is even color coded like my own French professor taught vocabulary.
7. And when a word has more than 1 definition, the examples don't usually include the other definitions.I enjoy learning through this app.
8. I can select my subjects, I can read and hear samples of the word used in a sentence and I can review what I need to practice on.
9. Each card has sample sentences that show different usages of same word in context.
10. You can edit any card - add sample sentences, indicate whether the word quizzed is meant to be an adjective, noun, etc.
11. The voice examples are okay but it seems to cut off just a smidge of the beginning of the word.
