1. In order to use your camera to image IR you need a physical filter to block the visible spectrum, you cannot resolve IR in the sensor output after the sensor has turned it into a false white. This app would be awesome except it hijacks my photos.
2. Of course it won't have full UV or IR vision because your camera filter those out, but it's enough to check when and where you need to apply/reapply sunscreen, which is what I wanted! The app itself is great it's just the camera that's limited.Tried with a sidewinder ir light, it doesn't really filter/process the light.
3. Only thing that needs improvement is different resolutions and lighting optionsI can pick out the different textures and different grades on a piece of paper to try to make out hidden text but really it only finds peaks and valleys on paperActually works (within the camera's limitations).
4. Using this app with IR setting point camera at a warm object of any colour except red on a cooler red background and note that the background is lighter than the warmer object.
5. if you have time on your hands point the camera at a kettle and turn it on - your kettle won't change colour and neither will your image, despite the IR getting more and more intense.
6. Does seem to do a good job at processing an image, but if you, like me, were hoping for night vision this will not work.I like it but I was looking for an app that allows me to apply this effect to pre-recorded videos.
7. Someone else may love it! 🙂Camera works, but pictures disappear - no in app menu to choose where they're saved, and they don't appear anywhere on my phone afterward; even with a file manager deep search.
8. check your camera can detect IR by using your TV remote control and your normal camera app.
9. I cannot find the phantom rgbcam file folder it says it is saving the photos to.
10. This does not resolve UV/IR, it is simply a visible colour filter as the app name suggests.
11. No different than any of the other false colorizing apps out there and should be used for fun purposes only.Tested the UV on sunscreen.
