1. Google books ap a thousand times better. This is awesome!! It is the only app of e-books I have ever known that has free books of recent publishing, and it lists many. Most of these book apps only have those boring old classics that most of us read in grades 7-12, and in college.Bleh!!This app needs a lot of work.
2. Looking at the bad reviews, they seem to be about two thing that seem to have been fixed -- search not finding books known to be in project gutenberg, and lots of ads.
3. If you try searching on the Project Gutenberg website with a regular web browser like Firefox and compare what you find with a search using this app, you'll see that it is not simply ineffective but that it diverts you from your search and will sometimes have you thinking that what you are seeking isn't available from Project Gutenberg.
4. I have the newest android phone and still cannot open any. This is a very good app for reading project gutenberg books.
5. I had no problem finding the books I was looking for in search, and I get only one ad per book, when I'm done with it.
6. So that's nice.Reading interface is primitive, book browse and search fails frequently for no reason, and the app needs to be restarted a lot.
7. Boo.good choice of books but... hard to find page quickly hard to scroll hard to return to page hard to make page slightly bigger to be more legible.
8. Site needs a few small tweaks to get it working better with app, example, on Samsung Galaxy A01 the advanced search form ends up with labels for fields hidden.
9. If you are looking for a project gutenberg app as I was, this will do fine. The ads I can take, the just a ccx wrapper of web site I can take, but let's address the issues... 1.
10. Couldn't find downloaded books unlike other ereaders.
11. App would be better still with as built in epub reader for offline Good start, will give more ☆ when 1st 2 fixedAt first the ads are a lot and I see no way of purchasing an ad free version, which is strange.
