Call Recorder Customer Insights

1. Where is the link to helper app.. 'use helper app'???when making and receiving calls the device record your voice but not the person you're talking to at the other end or it is very VERY quiet, there is no way or just in the recording volume so you can hear the other person voice clearly, it only has a default setting.

2. It does not stop recording when the call is finished and you hang up, it keeps going.

3. *EDIT* - (I have found that if the recording sticks, all you need to do is make another phone call, and the stuck recording will finish up and be saved).

4. I suggest making an option where you can I adjust the volume for recording for your voice and receiving the other person's voice.

5. I'm guessing it's the call recorder helper Google drive app that needs an update to remove greyed out option and give full access.

6. But once in a while the recording sticks, and does not stop at the end of the call.

7. Hope it can be fixed!! Thanks! 🙏App starts recording but won't stop when the call is finished.

8. And I cant seem to delete my recordings and back them up to dropbox at the same time meaning I'm always running out of space on my phone.This is the Best CALL RECORDER APP you could ever use.

9. Also, it would be useful to have a way to turn on recording in the middle of a call if the app doesn't initiate.Awesome app.

10. So it's recording everything that you're doing and the only way to stop it is to make another call and end that call before someone picks up.

11. Google drive app states that call recorder helper restricted setting is unavailable to be changed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Call Recorder Issues

1. Fix Call Recorder Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Call Recorder: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Call Recorder App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Call Recorder" » Open Call Recorder » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Call Recorder » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Call Recorder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Call Recorder servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Call Recorder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Call Recorder app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Call Recorder might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Call Recorder. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Call Recorder then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Call Recorder not working


2. Fix Call Recorder Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Call Recorder be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Call Recorder not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Call Recorder may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have followed the instructions cancel callrecorder but unable to find option to cancel either from settings or in the APP store.
    I did see a cancel option when I tried to cancel on December 2 after the the first payment. I clicked it but apparently it did not work. Please cancel my subscription and refund the December 10 payment.

  • Hi There, I have never requested the "Call Recorder Subscription" on my phone. My number is +61 448545876. I won't be needing that feature and have no idea how and why you have installed that on my phone automatically and went on to deduct payment using my Paypal. Please cancel this at once and refund the money that you have charged me. I am not able to choose the "Deactivate" or "Unsubscribe" button from my phone app. I do have another phone which is 0409503013 where I have unnecessarily paid for the premium truecaller which is not even working. I cannot see "who has viewed my profile" as the page never opens up. I am already disgusted and feel ripped off and do not wish to have any paid service from Truecaller!
    Please respond to this email and confirm that the money is refunded to me asap. I would also like to cancel the subscription I can done on +61 409503013 for premium truecaller with yearly payment. Please cancel that and refund the remaining amount for the coming months.

  • I have been charged for a call recorder subscription I used once. I want to stop any further payments and get a refund for those made if possible.
