1. I only wish that the lock would also sync its status (primarily: battery level) to the Lock's info page.Reliable and easy to use!! I'm looking at installing Tapkey locks at our house, as we have many friends using our house, coming and going when we're not home!! Safe and reliable, as I can track when and who is coming and going, and restrict access as I wish!!clunky, pain to install, pain to use.

2. A key (physical or electonic) is a key, if it can't open the lock its useless! I am now trying to get the property manager to get the tapkey lock replaced with a mechanical oneThis app is horrible, it gave me so much trouble to login the first time and then after all that I keep pressing add key and nothing happens...cool idea but I am going to have to go with someone else's because this one is just bad.Some actions not fully described.

1. Fix Tapkey Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Tapkey: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Tapkey App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tapkey" » Open Tapkey » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tapkey » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Tapkey app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tapkey servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tapkey" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Tapkey app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tapkey might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Tapkey. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tapkey then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tapkey not working

2. Fix Tapkey Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tapkey be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tapkey not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tapkey may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
