Why should I report an Issue with SafeChat — Secure Chat & Share?

1. It says that my data conflicts with for the app and that I should clear my data or reinstall the app what the heck is that all aboutIt is tricky to navigate, adding friends is a chore, but the all around is ok, and It would be nice if this was SD card compatible, looking forward to improvement... I have the web version right now, I can't log in with the app, if there was a show eye, for the password that would be nice to insure correct info... I tried user name, email, phone# and it keeps saying invalid, or error... So Unistalling for now...😣 I have no problem with the site... 🤔This is still a new communication app but for me its a great one.

2. *UNINSTALLED* there are much better encrypted chat apps available that actually work ... don't waste your time 👎👎👎👎👎Safechat is great, I been withem 1 plus years.

3. Tone that down and the star rating increases.developers updated app many months ago and it's been totally unusable ever since... I haven't been able to post, view posts or do anything in the app for over four months now.

4. In chat notifications when sending/receiving messages(while chat conversation is open).much is needed to consider using it.Thanks.The app is clean and functional but my God the notifications are oppressive and unmutable.

5. If they can fix that, I'd give it a much better rating as it's a good platform other than the practical navigation part.Good app but needs some enhancements.

6. Also, when trying to do video chat, if you don't have WiFi, the moment you connect is when you lose signal (even if you have full signal)!... This is frustrating.

7. It gives you the options other apps don't like follow n friend, it's very customisable in the last version & I hear it has its own servers too which is nice.

8. You have to try to find it, and if there are more than 30 or so replies to the original post, good luck on trying to find your one.

9. Needs to have notifications when the app is closed or in the background.We aren't receiving any notifications unless the app is open.

10. If I was to assist the Safechat team in 3 words (Look at parler) & get rid of that grey background dark colours for night mode.

11. Been waiting for an update to resolve the instant crash upon opening issue however none have fixed it and the app remains broken.

1. Fix SafeChat Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SafeChat: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SafeChat App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SafeChat" » Open SafeChat — Secure Chat & Share » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SafeChat » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SafeChat — Secure Chat & Share app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SafeChat servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SafeChat — Secure Chat & Share" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SafeChat app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SafeChat might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SafeChat. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SafeChat then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SafeChat not working

2. Fix SafeChat Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SafeChat be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SafeChat not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SafeChat may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
