Bloomz Customer Insights

1. App seems to alternate between providing me with zero notifications or giving me a notification that I cannot clear no matter how many times I view the message or dismiss it.

2. I've tried switching the type of notification from push to message to email and am not even getting the test notifications.

3. Also, if you scroll down the messages/alerts and open one to read, you have to scroll down the whole thing again to get to continue with the other messages which is annoying...especially if you're looking for a message.

4. Dismissing notifications within the app sends me back to the top of the list, even when the one I'm dismissing is a past event.Not user friendly at all! Difficult to navigate.I end up clicking all sorts of buttons to find the info for which I received a notification for.

5. I am not getting notifications when parents message me and now the app will not even open.

6. I originally didn't like it because I had to have this separate app for only one of my dozens of kids' teachers, it's not very user friendly, I couldn't download pictures for free, and I never got my push notifications.

7. Overall, it's not clear how you need to open the right type of page in order to be able to interact with a post vs.

8. Only way to send a message individually to the teacher is to open an old message.

9. Frequently will not load when I try to view new posts beyond the preview.I have been a HUGE fan and I have used it for years! Parents have loved it.

10. I have tried killing the app and refreshing it, not to mention this is after an update on Oct 29! Let's hope those notifications weren't for something urgent.

11. Was able to figure out how to message teacher after about 10 minutes of trial/error.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Bloomz Issues

1. Fix Bloomz Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Bloomz: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Bloomz App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bloomz" » Open Bloomz » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bloomz » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Bloomz app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bloomz servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bloomz" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bloomz app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bloomz might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bloomz. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bloomz then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bloomz not working


2. Fix Bloomz Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bloomz be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bloomz not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bloomz may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
