1. serious fun and powerful learning!!Just what I was looking for...but.... I have paid for premium and would give five stars if you can fix the audible notes eg on the quiz itll show a G on the staff and make that note, but then it may show a D and the tone coming out of the speaker is lower... the audible is wrong because when I select the open D string as my choice it marks it aa correctInteresting idea, but the free version is so limited as to be unusable, and the paid version is expensive.
2. ,Accurate to an actual stringed instrument! The fingerboard helped me learn the cello & I just played my first time today & it was amazing! The only thing I wish was that it didn't overlap the sound on other notes & I kinda wish there was a pizzicato version, otherwise, I like it.Great for learning.
3. If they were to extend the ranges of each instrument (maybe allow to scroll through the fingerboard via buttons on the side?), I would give this app five stars!Fantastic app with lots of options, I'm constantly recommending it to fellow string players looking for help with learning a new clef! It's a one-stop string reading app, for sure.
4. The app produces the musical notes on a staff appropriate for your instrument and you touch the fingerboard in the appropriate place to mark where that note lies.
5. the feature of the App to pick up the sound of your actual instrument is incredible and have had many sessions also of playing note after note in that quiz mode, some of those sessions i have gone through 300 to 500 notes.
6. Plus, it hasn't been updated in a long time, so Android gives a warning message every time the app starts.App is really great for beginners! I only miss that I could zoom in the first position, so distances between fingers would be closer to reality for the songs that I am learning.
7. I'd love to see it go past 5th, I'd even pay extra for it.fantastic App!!! since Oct 2018 i have learnt the first positions for Cello, Violin and Viola by daily practice over a coffee.
8. Does anyone know of other good apps that don't cost an arm & a leg? I truly need a App that allows me to practice Intermediate & Beginners Violin & beginners for the Cello.
9. Wonderful app!! allows yourself to self quiz the fingerboards of violin, viola, cello and double bass for a small purchase price.
10. The app allows you to choose to see the notes arranged on the fingerboard, or no letter names of the notes on the fingerboard.
11. Instruments positions are somewhat limited if you are looking practice the full range of your instrument.
