Whats that all about?I live in Anchorage Alaska and have been using your app since my first smartphone which was only about 2 or 3 yrs ago, no computer or laptop ever I'm computer illiterate, still haven't figured out how to use it & there are no classes for older people, I'm 65 so what I'm trying to say is that thank you big time for making it possible even for me to understand how to use it & the news is very informative.

2. I know your give the information but you kindly added sismic graph that means wave form and to show p-wave,s-wave, and many more and also added to plates.

4. It says it goes back 30 days and it was for the last year n ow in the past couple months although it says it's 30 days it only shows 2 weeksand it's missing a lot of earthquakes in the recent couple months.

5. Sorry to say that I closed your App ok.Perfect. Have map/list views, filters by distance, power, dates, location, data source can be chosen.

6. Map has layers with plates boundaries! Everything I need without complications.I really like the app and have been using it for quite a while.

7. It used to be very accurate far more than earthquake tracker and other popular apps but not anymore.Outstanding app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Earthquake Issues

1. Fix Earthquake Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Earthquake: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Earthquake App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Earthquake" » Open Earthquake » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Earthquake » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Earthquake app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Earthquake servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Earthquake" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Earthquake app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Earthquake might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Earthquake. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Earthquake then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Earthquake not working


2. Fix Earthquake Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Earthquake be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Earthquake not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Earthquake may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
