Forj Community Customer Insights

1. Naturally, it can't find an account to sign in with if you could never sign up to begin with.I couldn't even login, as the system seemed stuck in a continual loop of verifying email, clicking link in email, then when it pops me back into the app I click continue, it instructs me again to check email and click link to verify.

2. I hope that the devs are aware of this issue, because as much as I want to adopt this app for my organization, it still seems a bit half-baked and not ready for prime-time, and I can't take a risk on migrating my members over to a new platform if the kinks aren't yet worked out.Can't even get past the opening registration.

3. Each time it freezes after I upload a profile picture and will not progress.I really want to like this app, but push notifications do not seem to work, and that makes it hard to keep track of conversations.

4. I did this at least seven times and found no way to progress past that page.Doesn't do landscape mode on a tablet, even something simple like keep the portrait width and just expand the lefthand menu to fill the blank space.

5. Otherwise fine and the email integration is good for technophobes.Cannot get into app - have triple-checked credentials and app just keeps advising wrong password.

6. Unlikely to use Mobilize if all community members risk having the same experience.Great idea for an app but it doesnt work.

7. Aren't you supposed to be on your best behavior on a first date?Is Climate Reality Project using this app? Why? Everything seems fishy.

8. I have tried to leave a group + create a new log in + the link they send brings me to the app download.

9. It only says "Find your community" and a field to sign in.

10. Easy to sign up for, and set up events on, but I get the feeling the developers don't use their own product.There is no way to sign up.

11. This new hub isn't working for me, and why are you associated with this damn app that doesn't work?!Inefficient to operate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Forj Community Issues

1. Fix Forj Community Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Forj Community: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Forj Community App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Forj Community" » Open Forj Community » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Forj Community » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Forj Community app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Forj Community servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Forj Community" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Forj Community app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Forj Community might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Forj Community. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Forj Community then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Forj Community not working


2. Fix Forj Community Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Forj Community be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Forj Community not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Forj Community may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
