MapGenie Customer Insights

1. What would make it awesome is if it synched with my game and automatically detected my progress... But as it is, it is very usefulGood app! Recently started playing Division 2, and found it a nice addition to find all collectibles after finishing the main story.

2. My only problem with it is there is some items on the maps that need to be updated to the correct info about that item or event, even after someone has made a note of the change the map isn't always updated for a very long time.Good app,lets me manage my progress and where to find stuff.

3. Good stuff for all your Division 2 needs!I love the app but I have one suggestion, one clicking on one of the icons it brings up a small box with an image and then some text.

4. I've found a few things here and there in the game though that are described as "needs updating" or "?" in this app I wish there was a way I could help update these few Easter eggs and what not.

5. There some other features I'd like to have such as the ability to draw a farming routes and such.perfect app for finding and collecting everything in this game.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MapGenie Issues

1. Fix MapGenie Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MapGenie: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MapGenie App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MapGenie" » Open MapGenie: Division 2 Map » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MapGenie » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MapGenie: Division 2 Map app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MapGenie servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MapGenie: Division 2 Map" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MapGenie app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MapGenie might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MapGenie. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MapGenie then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MapGenie not working


2. Fix MapGenie Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MapGenie be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MapGenie not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MapGenie may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I accidentally put in the wrong username for my genshin impact map account so none of my progress is on it. I tried to register again with the real username but my email is already taken. How can I delete my first account?
