Why should I report an Issue with MapGenie: AC Odyssey Map?

1. Also kind of a pain having to reselect my preference of hidden locations in menu everytime I reload, (unless I'm doing something wrong) Otherwise a pretty good app.Wow ! This Map App really puts an end to all the sufferings I've been having while acquiring all the collectibles of this huge game.

2. Just wish I could see province and region borders, too.There are a few locations it helps with ainigmata ostraka locations, orichalcum locations, historical locations, points of interest, otherwise the game itself pretty much displays all other locations.

3. Amazing(ly long) game.Would have 5 stars, but the free version only let's you mark 100 locations, with thousands left, I was frustrated at how pushy it felt to buy it, and that is NOT happening, because I refuse to pay $10 for a MAP APP.

4. Horrible business stragety, otherwise a decent app, detailed.Has been infinitely helpful in keeping some order in a massive game.

5. I finished the game before, and I just don't feel like solving the ostraka all over again, so this has been a fantastic help to get all the engravings.

7. Sadly I found it when I was already past chapter seven and had most of the map completed(yes riddles too), but most Icons the game already provides you in game .

1. Fix MapGenie Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MapGenie: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MapGenie App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MapGenie" » Open MapGenie: AC Odyssey Map » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MapGenie » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MapGenie: AC Odyssey Map app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MapGenie servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MapGenie: AC Odyssey Map" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MapGenie app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MapGenie might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MapGenie. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MapGenie then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MapGenie not working

2. Fix MapGenie Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MapGenie be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MapGenie not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MapGenie may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
