1. If you select "allow only when app is in use" then it takes you back to the Play Store to open and it goes back to the question "allow app to access location" all again? It's a circle of maddness. The app follows Google Maps... Or at least, tries to - which I find is redundant.
2. Even worse, 2 requests to customer support come back only with the auto acknowledgement of receipt and no further follow up after 7+ days.Unless there's traffic, the ETA is more accurate than Google Maps :/, and it's less likely to suggest the odd routes that Google Maps does.
3. Otherwise people are just going to go with Waze or Google Maps to get their traffic info.Evidently Inrix doesnt care that there is an issue with the app.
4. It's been a fun 8-9 years, but sometimes it's just easier to move onto a new product.I decided to give Inrix a shot, as an alternative to Google Maps and Waze.
5. First it wants to have a location all the time not just when it is open, and second it does not seem to want to store locations except in their cloud.
6. Unfortunate as this used to be a good ap.It worked great until an update or something on Android happened and then it did not show any traffic or construction, etc.
7. Though, it could have potential, I am going to stay with TomTom / Garmin GPS or Google Maps. This app worked well until recently.
8. Google and Waze should not have any fear of Inrix as a serious contender.I like the app and use it daily.
9. I have started using Waze this week and just might stay with it being I cant get back into INRIX.
10. However it doesn't always report as quickly and I use Maps to double check the route to make sure both show same slow downs.
11. Now it does not always show the traffic on roads that it used to.
