1. All I got was what I'd picked and the only options are home tech focussed.If you want news related to technology then Geek Tech is here for you..!!! No complaint regarding the news shown in the app or regarding the app too, it's well optimized & has a clean interface which makes user to get the right news straight forward & not too much ads are there..!!!It's a really cool app, but I don't seem to be getting notifications and the widget doesn't seem to auto populate.

2. After you read 1 article, you get blasted with a very loud ad, even if you have your phone muted!!! I understand you need to use ads to make money, but you're doing it completely wrong, and I'm switching to another tech news app.

4. Plus you are bugged with annoying notifications.An overall goog app to consume all the tech news across the web and now the only tech news app I use.

5. **Insert Game of Throne's SHAME march here**Opening any article from the widget gives a blank gray screen, even the ad that's supposed to be there doesn't load and It have to close the app and reopen the article.

6. Also maybe show it when you tap on a news story from the widget - but broken widget makes the app useless.

8. Why the full-screen ads? Ruining a completely functional app.If the constant crashes weren't enough now when you click an article to read it brings up the next article and you have to hit back to get to the article you wanted to read (if it doesn't crash).

9. Being able to swipe away articles you don't want to read would be great!I used to love this app, but then an update came along that brought the most intrusive ads I've ever seen.

10. Complete and utter garbage, uninstalled.It's a reasonably well written app, acting as Portal server to various web news sources.

1. Fix Geek Tech Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Geek Tech: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Geek Tech App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Geek Tech" » Open Geek Tech - High Tech News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Geek Tech » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Geek Tech - High Tech News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Geek Tech servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Geek Tech - High Tech News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Geek Tech app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Geek Tech might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Geek Tech. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Geek Tech then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Geek Tech not working

2. Fix Geek Tech Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Geek Tech be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Geek Tech not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Geek Tech may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
