Why should I report an Issue with PhET Simulations?

1. easy to understand but very limited concepts.not enough sims in the app...they have many in the website...would have been great if provided in app too...waste of time...I had to uninstall in 5 mins!... their website is a better experience...atleast!Such a unique way to teach concepts - very effective for visual learners!Did not include Natural Selection - the one my instructor assigned.

2. please update the app with the plate tectonic that your website says it should be on and I'll update the review.these simulations are more helpful in india as here many schools does not have good labs .It help students to understand concept of physics easly .

3. more simulations must be added also.Awesome app for visualisation of concepts and ability of app to allow you play around with multitude of parameters makes it very interesting.Please convert all sims in HTML 5 format as soon as possible.It would be great if it had all of the simulations that are available on the website.

4. I downloaded the app from the website page with the plate tectonic because the webpage wouldn't work.

5. I only bought the app because the Natural Selection simulator didn't work with my Chromebook.Very good, we use this application to teach science.

1. Fix PhET Simulations Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart PhET Simulations: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the PhET Simulations App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PhET Simulations" » Open PhET Simulations » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PhET Simulations » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear PhET Simulations app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PhET Simulations servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PhET Simulations" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check PhET Simulations app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PhET Simulations might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall PhET Simulations. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PhET Simulations then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PhET Simulations not working

2. Fix PhET Simulations Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PhET Simulations be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PhET Simulations not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PhET Simulations may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
