1. Overall, I enjoy using this feature as it does what I need it to do after purchasing both a tv and mobile phone that allows it to be done.First it requires you to download additional software to proceed with their app, and then after going through its setup process and doing everything to configure the app to the network it then REQUIRES you to watch a 30 second ad of their choosing BEFORE EVERY VIDEO you want to view regardless how short it may be.

2. I can pause and rewind with my remote and can use my phone while video is playing with no issues which is much better than the more popular screen cast apps built into our devices.

3. It's hard to fast forward, especially when you need to go to a specific time stampI bought the ultimate pack just to stream video files from my phone, on local storage, to my $1900 Samsung smart TV.

8. Youll watch 5 minutes of ads before getting the video you actually wanted.

9. If the video is to long, the app stops casting it after about 20 min, making you cast the video again 3.

10. Pressing the link appears to want to start the casting, but the loading symbol just spins and times out after several minutes.

11. When I click the link to cast from youtube, most of the time it won't cast at first.

1. Fix TV Cast Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TV Cast: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TV Cast App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TV Cast" » Open TV Cast for Samsung TV » click "Update".

  3. Clear TV Cast for Samsung TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TV Cast servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TV Cast for Samsung TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TV Cast app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TV Cast might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TV Cast. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TV Cast then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TV Cast not working

  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TV Cast may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
