1. It tells you at some point you should accept Policies that may contain some costs if you found the right pdf you can't even read or download it with! After that you should enter a code that will never ever be sent to your email, so you can't use the app... #telekomservice #notcustomerfriendlyit was good at first but when i tried to connect my lightbulb a second time, it just would not work.

2. Overall pretty good and considering I have no thermostat in my flat, it's good for managing energy consumption and efficiency.Useless! Worst interface ever! It asks for a lot of personal data! Just to be able to set up two light bulbs made just for this not working app.

3. There was an upgrade 2 days ago and now the app does not work, cannot find homebaee, etc... so I can't manage my heating remotely or on schedule, which defies the purpose of the devices I invested in.

4. And after that I still waiting after 5 days for that email with the code the app needs to be able to work.

6. Usually works well, sometimes cannot reach one device although I have a repeater at home, so signal is very strong.

7. But it still shady to ask the costumer to accept AGBs that you can't even read.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Magenta SmartHome Issues

1. Fix Magenta SmartHome Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Magenta SmartHome: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Magenta SmartHome App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Magenta SmartHome" » Open Magenta SmartHome » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Magenta SmartHome » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Magenta SmartHome app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Magenta SmartHome servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Magenta SmartHome" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Magenta SmartHome app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Magenta SmartHome might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Magenta SmartHome. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Magenta SmartHome then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Magenta SmartHome not working
