1. After some struggles with poor audio quality (voice was barely understandable, I restarted, reseted, reinstalled...), it eventually works ! And I absolutely love the ability to make landline call from my mobile phone ! :) Thanks for the new UI, it looks much better :) And thanks for the answer, I have now my phone contacts once only :) Remain the ability to make calls directly from the Android interface (as there is the option to make Skype or WhatsApp call from a contact).I use WireGuard on my Samsung phone and my Fritz!Box, and noticed that even away from home I can use this app to make calls.
2. (Remove domestic calls restrictions in line settings, of the fritz box)Seemed OK at first, but disappointingly it seems whenever I move within my mesh network (which otherwise works as it should) the app drops out completely and requires re-registration, which in turn requires an analogue phone or access to the fritzbox, making it completely unusable in practice...... I gave up and deleted the app but a few months later tried again it as it would be useful.
3. In fact there don't appear to be any technical settings available at all which is strange on a VOIP phone.works well enough, but before the latest update the call list could be seen from the dialer.
4. / I located the error: It does not work with a mesh network.Since a while, when the app rings and I pick up (green "answer" button), it shows the screen that it shows when in a call, but the app keeps ringing and I am not actually in a call with the caller.
5. Thanks. The design is antiquated and feels like it's from Android 2.4 Though it does work well with the router, aside from a hitch for a second on picking up calls during which no participant can hear the other.
6. Maybe the devs can work with WireGuard to fix this.Is the app supposed to notify you when there are new answer phone messages? If it is, it's not working.
7. Two issues: (1) lag/latency which means you end up interrupting the person you are talking to on the phone (2) voice distortion - making you sound like a Dalek.
8. Sound quality is a bit better, but still not up to the standard of a DECT phone on the Fritz!box system.
9. However, when I try to call somebody, it connects and shows I were in a conversation, but there is simply neither any type of sound nor any voice - a dead audio input/output.
10. I'd also like to be able to pick from my phone's contact list which this doesn't do.
11. I am able to connect to the router and configuration seem fine and working, two green symbols in the app, and the app connection is visible in the router.
