WeCSee Customer Insights

1. This app drains my phone super fast, and now my doorbell needs to be charged every 10 days! Right now, this app is borderline useless.The application works worse after update, does not connect and does not record videos, I can't even enter Local settings because of an intermittent popup flashing on the screen: WeCSee keeps stopping.

2. Why is developer not doing something to fix the connection problems? If they don't, then device developers should use a different app to interface with their devices.Why is the time on the doorbell display always Chinese time? I now have a theory that this seller gets you to buy the device, let's you connect to it remotely for a time, then because they have to support the connection, cuts you off after a period of time.

3. Essentially bricked my camera and made it a door bell! The support for this app is non existent and no one ever responds to messages or emails! UPDATE: I can now connect after last update but now no longer sends to the phone when the door bell is pressed.

4. Seems like no testing is done at all with this app!With this new update, I can still connect but unable to receive any notification on my phone when the door bell is pressed by a visitor.

5. They have 1 day to fix problem or I'll be getting my money back via a claim with my credit card!Seems to partially work but don't get notification on Android.

6. Ten other times flat out refuses to work work even if card is empty, does not ring my phone anymore.

7. You mentioned this latest update fixes the problem that the message push cannot be delivered.

8. Those using Google WiFi will encounter problem, try to use old device that use 2.4ghz connection.

9. In actual fact, this update DID NOT fix this problem at all, the message push still cannot be delivered.

10. Just about to uninstall this new version and replace it with an old version.Bloody useless app! Just keeps saying connecting and does not allow you to do anything else.

11. On opening app, get onscreen message says app has stopped but it hasn't and takes far too long to connect to camera.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix WeCSee Issues

1. Fix WeCSee Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart WeCSee: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the WeCSee App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WeCSee" » Open WeCSee » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WeCSee » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear WeCSee app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WeCSee servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WeCSee" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check WeCSee app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WeCSee might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall WeCSee. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WeCSee then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WeCSee not working


2. Fix WeCSee Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WeCSee be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WeCSee not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WeCSee may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • We were given a doorbell as a gift. SIN 20050000026, it will not connect to the network. I have tried everything included re installing the app. I have an IOS phone, don't know what else to do. I would very much would like to use this device. Please help.
