1. Extremely invasive, resource hog, just bad design or should be marked as malicious code.The YouTube advertisement for this app, produced by Gouldin Technologies, shows a feature that allows video to be toggled between internal camera on the Watchman to the optional external camera.

2. Our 2 users get phone calls instead of a push screen notification to show who is at the gate; we have to scramble to manually get in the app in order to open the gate to let callers in.

3. Oh and the worst part: IT NEVER WORKS WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO! Unless you are staring at your screen with the app open, you will not get notified when someone is at the gate and they will never be let in.This is a poorly designed app with very weak basic functionalities.

4. The external camera will take a still photo each time someone interacts with the Watchman, but you cannot toggle from one camera to the other while someone is at the gate (like the video shows).

5. Even if it does notify me, sometimes it won't connect to the gate right and the call will be ringing but I can't open the call to let them in.

6. How do I answer a phone call without typing in my telephone's pin? It takes too long and the caller has already been disconnected by the time I have to bypass my phone's security.

7. Also, any android users have to Force Close the app because it drains battery, uses location, sends random call notifications for no reason.

8. Portions of the app work well but the whole point is to be able to answer a call quickly and hit open.

9. BTW, the Elika system does the toggling with no problem.App doesn't reliably work.

10. Constantly setting off alarms on my phone for listening through an active microphone or activating camera.

1. Fix Watchman Evo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Watchman Evo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Watchman Evo" » Open Watchman Evo » click "Update".

3. Clear Watchman Evo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Watchman Evo servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Watchman Evo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Watchman Evo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Watchman Evo might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Watchman Evo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Watchman Evo then reinstall.
