1. Shows the store and news on relevant games, making it about as useful as (but slower than) a regular web browser logged in to Steam's website.
2. Search is missing for anything but games (can't search workshop etc), back button is broken and throws you to the home page no matter where you are on the site, several features like friends are gone... honestly it's more hassle than it's worth most of the time.
3. App has been rebuilt from the ground up to be as user unfriendly as possible; removing chat features, hiding other more common features behind several menus (friend activity), and making nearly everything take upwards of 30 seconds to even respond to being pressed.
4. Some content doesn't properly load, such as previews of screenshots and artwork, the app breaks itself saying "there was a problem loading this content" and "webpage not available" for an excuse, and sometimes it takes forever to open something so I have to reopen the app again.
5. If I go to an asset and hit the back button to go back to the previous screen, it kicks me all the way out and back to the main Steam page.
6. From the other reviews I've read, my experience still sounds like a better experience than most others.Mostly unusable for anything but browsing new games from the home screen.
7. The previous app worked fine. For what it's supposed to do, the Steam app works fine.
8. Absolutely miserable. This new Steam format SUCKS! It's hard to navigate to a game's workshop.
9. Most of the app is just a browser for the Steam website, but worse than a regular browser in every way.
10. When I'm in Cities: Skylines workshop, for instance, there are 9 Spotlighted assets, but I can only see 3 as the new format keeps the other 6 partially hidden unless I'm in Landscape Mode.
11. the previous version was fine, whatever they did for this new update broke everything. This app is awful and so is the support for it.
