But if I don't know when and what is showing it is really of no use to me.I really like being able to read news stories on the go, but half the time it is impossible to do so due to all the ads and pop ups you have! Just as I am starting to load and read the story, my screen goes white from all the ads and the story goes away and never comes back! I will back out and try to re read the story, and it does the same thing.

2. Other than that keep up the good work!I mainly care about live TV so I can catch the news or other shows when I want to.

3. Continually prompted to click on a link to view the live stream via the WGN website, making the app unnecesarry, and just taking up space on my phone.

4. What's the point of having a 'watch live' option in the app? Not at all an ideal streaming experience.One of the only apps I know of that you do not have to have a cable subscription for.

9. Like to keep up to date with news not just keep seeing the same thing over and over.The recently updated version now has a street and boundary overlay which is distracting and annoying.

10. And then when I open the browser and wait through the pop-up ad, and then the mandatory 1-2 other ads, there is no Chromecast icon, so I'm struck trying to watch it in a browser.

11. I know ads pay the bills, but when you can read a story, and heck ALL the ads go away due to overload, what's the point?The stream never loads or starts as it should.

1. Fix WGN-TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart WGN-TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the WGN-TV App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WGN-TV" » Open WGN-TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WGN-TV » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear WGN-TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WGN-TV servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WGN-TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check WGN-TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WGN-TV might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall WGN-TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WGN-TV then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WGN-TV not working

2. Fix WGN-TV Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WGN-TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WGN-TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WGN-TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
