If you're looking for a good reliable speed test I would suggest the FCC app.So for not a single failure as long as internet is not down,,only thing testing three devices at same time,each records from different sources with a large gap,,anywhere from 19 to 30 gigs all supposed by Netgear nighthawk running an 60 gig service that has a margin of 2 to 3 Meg speed with a uncomfortable ping of 54,with all that said this app with its platform wins hands down on connectivity, speed on access to all interface testing, reliabilityI don't know how legit this is.

1. Fix Speed Test Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Speed Test: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Speed Test App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Speed Test" » Open Speed Test » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Speed Test » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Speed Test app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Speed Test servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Speed Test" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Speed Test app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Speed Test might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Speed Test. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Speed Test then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Speed Test not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Speed Test be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Speed Test not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Speed Test may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
