Decanter Premium Customer Insights

1. On the website it is not clear where you need to log in so at the moment I can't access Premium content at all despite the fact I've paid for it.Good contents, but really slow and cumbersome : when navigating from one article to another I always end up in locked articles although I am logged in and entitled to see the contents.

2. Constant prompts to login in an endless and perpetuating cycle that still does not allow you to access articles at the end of it.

3. The content is great but the prospect of having to uninstall and re install the app means the frequency of reading articles is no more than once a month.I felt I had to say something.

4. Not user friendly at all.Pointless. Logs in fine, but re-prompts for authentication every time I try to access an article or piece of information and then takes me back to the start.

5. I have a premium membership that renews in March 2021, and I can't access the content I've paid for through this app.

6. I logged in through the main menu, but when I try to access any of the magazine issues, I am prompted to login again.

7. Checking the box to "remember me" does nothing.Reduced the rating to 1 now that I have uninstalled and installed the app more times than I can remember to fix the incessant log on issue which appears to be impacting a lot of other users who are experiencing the same issue.

8. Now unable to read any articles and still having to pay a premium for the service.

9. Avoid this app, it is a waste of time and money.Unusable. As other reviews have mentioned it keeps asking to log in.

10. It prompts for a log in every time and redirects to the main menu without showing any articles.

11. I really enjoy the magazine and content, but as a premium subscriber this is one of the slowest, clunkiest apps I've used.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Decanter Premium Issues

1. Fix Decanter Premium Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Decanter Premium: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Decanter Premium App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Decanter Premium" » Open Decanter Premium » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Decanter Premium » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Decanter Premium app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Decanter Premium servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Decanter Premium" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Decanter Premium app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Decanter Premium might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Decanter Premium. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Decanter Premium then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Decanter Premium not working


2. Fix Decanter Premium Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Decanter Premium be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Decanter Premium not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Decanter Premium may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
