1. A worse-than-amateur app from a substantial company with substantial resources.[The app is unusable; the overall rating speaks for itself; they should be ashamed of this app] Instead of making a half-baked app, it would be more reasonable to allow users to download the WHOLE book and read it elsewhere.
2. The loading time is still unacceptably slow for an app that basically displays eBooks, specially considering this is 2019 but hey, at least it doesn't crash before you can open the book.
3. Bookshelf is a great ap they should look st that because the money that Thomson charge for books to have a slow ap like this is criminal , but putting that aside different books format differently so one may read ok the next us a disaster.
4. Either put forth the resources necessary to make the entire environment work, or partner with a brand that knows what they are doing, or let me use the ebook reader apps and platforms of my choice.
5. Not like the whole book, but at least a paragraph to be able to share it with someone who doesn't have the ebook.
6. I am paying the equivalent price of a physical book and you are demanding I use proprietary DRM and your bookmarking and annotation capabilities are worse than what's available to kindle.
7. And I think that would really draw more customers to you.Slow, unresponsive, lacking cross platform synching and generally lacking features expected in an e-reader.
8. Slow app opening and book loading.
9. It would be nice if the high cost of the book was reflected in having a high quality app to use it in.I give this app 1 Star for the following reasons: 1.
10. PS: using it in a browser is horrible, tooSlow, clunky interface and poor navigation between different sections.
11. The year is 2019 tine to change. The display alignment is off making reading impossible.
