Contact Textra SMS Customer Service

Hello, This is not a complaint; just a question. : ) Most likely due to my unfamiliarity with the new messaging app. Just today, I switched from Samsung Message+ to Textra. After receiving my first text this evening, I noticed this unread text appears identical to all my other previously read texts. I looked at the settings, but was unable to find any way to change this. When I open the Textra app, is there any way to make unread texts appear in "bold" until they have been opened and read? I need a way to be able to differentiate between read and unread text messages. Also, if there is a good place you could suggest to look for help with the app, I would appreciate that as well. I tried all the suggestions on this sight (clearing cache, apn, MMS/mobile network etc.) and it didn't help. What else can I do to get rid of the "Can't get MMS: No MMS connection" alert messages? It's been two days and I still get the alerts. I've long since deleted the messages that couldn't be sent.

In the last few days my husband cannot receive a text from me. My daughter using the same AT&T account can. What might be preventing him from this? He is not block listed he is unmuted and he has pinned as a favorite we have the same AT&T account and this has not been an issue for many years since 2013! Ty!

WHEN ATTACHING FILES TO MY TEXT MESSAGES USING THE + METHOD, I CANNOT SEND A PDF FROM MY DROPBOX FOLDER, BUT I CAN SEND THE SAME FILE IF IS A JPEG. THE FILE IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE IS 176KB. THE "WORKAROUND" IS TO FIRST GO TO MY DROPBOX FOLDER, SELECT THE FILE AND THEN "SHARE" IT, WHICH THEN PROVIDES A LINK FOR THE RECIPIENT. I HAVE ONLY TRIED SENDING TO MYSELF USING THE WORKAROUND MENTHOD, SO I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF I SEND IT AS A GROUP TEXT MESSAGE WHETHER OR NOT EACH RECIPIENT WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE FILE. THIS WORKAROUND IS INVONVENIENT, SO I AM WONDERING WHAT TEXTRA DOESN'T LIKE ABOUT PDFS?! I HAVE CALLED CONSUMER CELLULAR ANBD THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO SHED ANY LIGHT. IT SEEMS TO BE A TEXTRA ISSUE. Hi Folks:..Have been using Textra (Pro) for a long time and love it..just bought a Samsung S23 and can only see the 'icon badge' (when I send myself a text) when using 'Quick Compose' . The badge doesn't show when I click on the icon and the keyboard comes up.

A common problem is sending pictures with Textra. I have used Textra for years and now I can't send pics. An easy fix is needed. Why is this something so many of us are having problems with now? And what is the quick fix?

I have used Textra for about 2 years. Very helpful. Looks great. The updates are reasoned and practical. However, I would sure appreciate a 'bin' ... a folder where misdeleated conversations can be saved. Really, I have lost forever more stuff jus by electing the wrong string for summary execution. I love Textra however one constant issue since I've had it( which is awhile) is it won't let me send messages 50% of the time to groups. I constantly get the 3 red dots showing it won't go, then I get the '!!' message saying failed to send. It's annoying. My daughter had a group of ten she sends messages to and has no issues.

I recently updated my phone and had to reinstall textra. I previously had and paid for the pro version and had to pay again. I don't feel I should have had to pay again for something I already had. Now I am also getting a ton of spam texts. I seem to be continuously blocklisting texts I don't want. Any work around for this?

I keep receiving can't get mms : timeout And can't get mms : no mms connection In my notifications. Then after a few minutes I get flooded with messages then I get the messages stated above.

My wife and I continue to have dropping out issues with the app that keeps us from using it. I tried what I was told earlier with no success. I cleared the cache but was uncertain about clearing the data files.

Textra keeps stopping when I try to send a text. Please fix. It closes and I can't send anything.

I and my wife both cannot use our textra apps on our phones because when we try anything the app shutdown. We can receive messages but we can't do anything in the app without it closing. I have LG Velvet 5G phone and wife has LG G7 phone.

Lately I've sent a text messages but it is not being received. The app shows it's sent. Sometimes the message is received 24 hours later but most of the time it's not received at all. I've had Textra for a long the and enjoy the confidence of knowing my messages are being received. I can't keep the app if this continues. My business partners depend on me. I have a Google Pixel 6 pro. I hope this can be corrected. Thank you.

If I have an account that begins 9xxxx I can receive SMS text messages but I cannot reply. Every reply I try comes back with an exclamation point that reply failed

At times my textra Icon does not inform me that I received any messages. Very frustrating!

I am trying to change the bubble color for received messages so it is the same on all messages. Right now I have to go into each conversation and customize it. No complaints! I have an Android phone and want to Share an MMS video. When I tap the Share icon, a list of available apps show up, but Textra isn't one of them. I've set Textra as my default texting app. I've tried to delete "Messaging" app but it apparently is in-built to Android and won't let me delete it. Force stopping it doesn't help either. I am no longer getting a visual flag when receiving a text. I have checked my 'notifications' and all of them are active for Textra. I use this to know when I get a text, as I work and need to have my phone on silent when working. I also need to know if someone is texting me. This is unusual and I really need a solution for this! Hello, I have been using your app for quite a long time with not too many issues. Recently I got a new phone and had to transfer all my information. I have two contacts that I cannot turn notifications on in your app. It's strange because when I try to physically turn them on they just turn themselves right back off. For some reason the keyboard changed in textra (only textra). Its not useable in the format its changed to abd can't change to standard keyboard so will have to delete Textra.

Have an Android Galaxy S9. I usually get a notification when I receive a text message in the form of a red disc overlaying the Textra app logo. But the odd one or two do not - usually from iPhones.

I just got a new samsung 21 ultra. I used smart switch to do the transfer from my old samsung phone. All the text messages were synced perfectly, but when I made textra my default texting app, they started deleting one at a time, from most recent to oldest. It won't stop. The other text app on my phone still has all the texts. I want to continue using textra, but must retrieve and keep these texts. Please help!

Hello, Long ago I purchased Textra Pro on Google play store, and have ever had any issue's or complaints with the program, I honestly never knew that this site existed, until 10 minutes ago, so I immediately signed up, so I could send support my issue I've been having for a longtime. Why is my Textra app not not re populating my contact list after reinstalling it? other than that I am very satisfied with the software, Thank You.

For the last several weeks (maybe 8 weeks) I can no longer send photo attachments. Have had Textra for years, no previous issue. Have not changed any settings. My guess this happened after an update.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy A7 Tablet. I had Textra on it but i was not receiving the texts nor could i send from the Tablet. I turned off all defaults on "messenger". But i could not set Textra to default. There was button and i tapped it but did not work. I tried uninstalling the app on my tablet then i could not re-install it. It's not on the "store"? Will Textra work on a Samsung Galaxy A7 Tablet? if so how do i install it?
