New Zealand.Every time now that I open up the calculator app I am inundated with unwanted, unnecessary and stupid advertisements!!! it seems like this has gotten worse over the last a couple months, I won't put up with it! I will go to a new calculator app if these unwanted unnecessary and stupid advertisements persist every time I open up the app.I would rate it higher except the app is always running in the background and is using data...there is no reason for constant running and data usage.

If it were possible to uninstall this app I would, but for now I have to just force stop it and restore the app to the factory version.I find this particular application to be extremely user friendly and I appreciate the fact that the people/person who developed it was intelligent enough to come up with and apply the feature that allows the user to view the answer to any given equation that they're attempting to calculate BEFORE or without having to press the = (equal) button! It's so simple but in my opinion genius! I love it.

Update: I sent a screenshot to the app creators showing it used 18+mb of data, so it does run and use data in the background...found this out with an app I had used to see what processes run in the background .It does exactly want you want from a calculator, but additionally has great currency function.

4. Also the loading (albeit a fraction of a second, but noticeable enough with the loading refresh sign) whenever you tap on the history.I have DISABLED this deceptive, data hijacking, private information stealing excuse of an app.

5. And now, it wants access to all of our PHOTO, MEDIA, STORAGE and FILES? Why does a caculator need all of this?there is a huge glitch, and it appeared at the top of my sreen without asking and i cant get rid of it.

6. :•)It would be a hands down 5 star, best calculator on Play Store had it not been a tad bit slow :( I'm not sure if the "fade in/out" was intentional, but it's definitely annoying.

7. Then it started showing a PERSISTENT NOTIFICATION (which could be disabled only by changing an option in Settings, which lies 90% users use it).

8. No one wants to have even more clutter added to their phone, and having a constant bar in the notification section is just horrible.

9. Any adverts don't worry me much, as you just keep your phone data off while using it, & it keeps them at bay.

10. Great if you need to work in more than one, or are travelling and want to compare prices.

1. Fix Calculator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Calculator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Calculator App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Calculator" » Open Calculator - Multi Calculator » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Calculator » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Calculator - Multi Calculator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Calculator servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Calculator - Multi Calculator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Calculator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Calculator might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Calculator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Calculator then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Calculator not working

2. Fix Calculator Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Calculator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Calculator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Calculator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
