1. How is it that the friend's phone works, but mine doesn't? I'm utterly lost on this.Terrible app, no different than what comes automatically on my phone except that it wouldn't even recognize the TV I was trying to connect to (my phone could!), and I had to sign up for a 3 day trial, but there's no way in the app to cancel the subscription, I sent an email and will uninstall the app, hopefully that will be enough so I'm not charged 20 bucks for a useless app.I recently bought a google chromecast and was disappointed to find that not only did it not allow for audio streaming to my phone, but all of the apps which claimed to fix this issue were completely useless.

4. This is honestly the most streamlined, efficient, effective screen mirroring app I've used and it works flawlessly with my chromecast with no lag between my phone's Audio output and the stream.

1. Fix Screen Mirroring Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Screen Mirroring: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Screen Mirroring App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Screen Mirroring" » Open Screen Mirroring - TV Miracast » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Screen Mirroring » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Screen Mirroring - TV Miracast app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Screen Mirroring servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Screen Mirroring - TV Miracast" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Screen Mirroring app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Screen Mirroring might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Screen Mirroring. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Screen Mirroring then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Screen Mirroring not working

2. Fix Screen Mirroring Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Screen Mirroring be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Screen Mirroring not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Screen Mirroring may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
