Genesis Intelligent Assistant Customer Insights

1. I love the ease of access to the most-used features (remote start, lock/unlock, POI search) right from my home screen without the need to open the app to access, just wish they'd update background options.This app is basically unusable.

2. Climate start preset or QuickStart does not work at all from the start button homepage widget.

3. It took me some time to figure out that the "climate control" button was the remote start.

4. The double tap and hold for climate start preset does not work at all.

5. The one key feature that it is designed for, to remotely start your car, doesn't work virtually ever.

6. Once in a blue moon, it will actually start the car, but 99% of the time, it fails, stating there is no mobile coverage.

7. If you don't refresh this app daily, it seems like your remote start attempt will be unsuccessful.

8. What used to work doesn't anymore and calling the 800 number is useless.I liked the app and then when I signed the new privacy agreement it quit working.

9. Why does it pop up every time? Sometimes the app fails to connect to the genesis server despite my network connection being very strong.

10. Perhaps changing the be to remote start might be helpful.

11. They keep changing the UI, adding features and so forth, but the one thing that matters the most continues to be unusable.For a luxury vehicle I expect the app to at least function.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Genesis Intelligent Assistant Issues

1. Fix Genesis Intelligent Assistant Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Genesis Intelligent Assistant: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Genesis Intelligent Assistant App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Genesis Intelligent Assistant" » Open Genesis Intelligent Assistant » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Genesis Intelligent Assistant » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Genesis Intelligent Assistant app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Genesis Intelligent Assistant servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Genesis Intelligent Assistant" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Genesis Intelligent Assistant app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Genesis Intelligent Assistant might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Genesis Intelligent Assistant. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Genesis Intelligent Assistant then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Genesis Intelligent Assistant not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Genesis Intelligent Assistant be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Genesis Intelligent Assistant not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
