1. I'm not happy with these anymore.When I try to share a photo it shares a completely different photo, I have no way to download/save an image to my cell phone but I have the useless ability to share on every social platform ever created.. If I want to share the wrong images of course that is... Notifications don't open the app when selected.. Very Disappointing.

2. they look all "cool" when they swipe in from the left, but if you are looking for differences between photos(aka a very small, very conspicuous movement that triggered the camera), you want to see the photo flash from one to the other.

3. That option doesn't work very well when I go to share the photo it ends up putting a different photo down than the one I was actually trying to share.Poor System Altogether.

4. 1st unit had a software glitch, it doesn't allow for A software update and takes pictures within a few seconds of one another, but the setting is set for 3 minutes apart.

5. Flex cameras.After the latest update all notifications no longer open up the app when selected/pushed.

6. When I got it you could choose Manual and set a schedule but it ignored it and uses Standard anyway.

7. One problem is the referral portion of the app doesn't work so you have to call or email customer service.

8. Useless! The other issue is that I have two cameras on software v1.17 and two on v1.18 with revisions.

9. The other unit, which is on unlimited plan can not sync to cellular signal.

10. App notifications do not open the images anymore either.

11. And , NO, I don't want to spend time on the phone doing all of the simple things I've already tried to fix it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SPYPOINT Issues

1. Fix SPYPOINT Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SPYPOINT: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SPYPOINT App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SPYPOINT" » Open SPYPOINT » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SPYPOINT » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SPYPOINT app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SPYPOINT servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SPYPOINT" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SPYPOINT app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SPYPOINT might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SPYPOINT. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SPYPOINT then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SPYPOINT not working


2. Fix SPYPOINT Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SPYPOINT be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SPYPOINT not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SPYPOINT may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I have tried several times to contact customer service with no avail. Equally, I have tried to cancel my subscription with spypoint through the app and I have looked and am still getting charged
