1. Also, I suggest building a Spanish dictionary into the app as well!A lot of English usage, speech detection isnt great, no organized set of verbs and their respective conjugations, no way to skip parts you may already know other than missing the entire session, when learning numbers they missed a great opportunity to help you "think" in Spanish.
2. If the app looked a little prettier and it could slow down a bit, I feel like it could be very successful. It sounds like i am learning a Mexican version of spanish when i really wanted Cuban or Puerto Rican.
3. Also I REALLY hope that soon there will be more languages with this app like Japanese, Korean, Russian, Swedish, Arabic and more! Thank you for this awesome experience!!It's okay, the chatbot and the lessons are helpful, however only the first 4 levels are free.
4. I honestly think it rivals Duolingo in terms of being interactive and easy to understand, but it goes very very fast and even I found it speedy, even though I've been studying spanish for 2-3 years now.
5. And then to add, it gives you brief notes describing differences between common words/phrases that can be hard to decipher, Duolingo doesn't offer notes in the midst of a lesson.
6. Note taking is just as useful as repeating what you hear!! I always believe it's important to /understand/ what you're speaking in another language not just repeating words and trying to memorize it that way.
7. I wish that they would at least say that the full app is behind a paywall in the description; the app was good but, I don't think that it'd be worth that price honestly...I came into this app as an intermediate Spanish speaker.
8. It won't resemble the flashy gamified apps but looks to be far more geared toward gentle natural learning with a nicely done chat practice.
9. I'm using the free version, ads are not intrusive, will definitely purchase the other lessons.
10. The volume has to be loud during the lessons and when the lesson is finished it blows out the eardrums with a headset.
11. It really forces me to listen which is good but it would be nice to have the option to slow the voice down a wee bit on longer sentences.
