Just a one time purchase.Absolutely love the game, I've had it from the start, one thing that is annoying is the price for the competition when you don't have the song, but it's nice you can buy the music box for half, but you sometimes don't get a song for the competition and you have to buy multiple.

2. :(It is a very good rhythm game, and all though there are quite a few ads you have to go through at times, there are also a lot of songs to play and have to tap to! There are a lot of different songs to choose from, which I love because I was disappointed when I saw most songs I wanna play in magic tiles not there.

3. But recently there has been an issue that is really annoying where it will lag during a song but the song will keep going in the background and then it will cut to where it should be and I would immediately lose.I have an extreme love/hate relationship with this game.

4. Btw, idk why but some of the time it says I didnt press a note when I did....While heavily pay-to-play (collecting new songs usually takes actual cash at some point in the process) the base game is excellent.

5. When I started they only had normal tracks in three difficulties, normal, hard and extreme, now with the addition of deluxe mode versions of the tracks in those difficulties, you've got a whole different range of play difficulties.

6. But more egregious is the random unregistered taps, which occur with normal pressure.They have a pretty decent music selection, although it feels like it takes forever to unlock new songs after a while.

7. Once you get that and you start a game, invariably, the sync will change mid song throwing you off.

8. I'm not going to spend this much time watching ads.Very fun game that takes the generic tile games to another level.

9. The only frustrating thing is that there are times when you open the app to play again it doesn't load and I have to uninstall then reinstall which loses all my progress; which makes me not want to play.

1. Fix Beatstar Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Beatstar: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Beatstar App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Beatstar" » Open Beatstar - Touch Your Music » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Beatstar » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Beatstar - Touch Your Music app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Beatstar servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Beatstar - Touch Your Music" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Beatstar app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Beatstar might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Beatstar. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Beatstar then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Beatstar not working

2. Fix Beatstar Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Beatstar be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Beatstar not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Beatstar may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
