1. Latest versions are invorrectly counting data usage, according to the app I always use 140% of my data plan, I have not changed my average usage, the data system in Android measures less data and my carrier has not alerted me of high usage, in fact, Android system data informed is consistent with my carrier's data usage.I think this app is already good.

2. In comparison to similar apps and the built-in data counter it indicates up to 3 times more data usage over a monthly test period.Not Accurate show 2.7 gb used while only 130mb was used.

3. Randomly picks up (possibly previous data usage) upload and download data and hence the usage exceeds daily limit even without any use (Errors are 10 times or even 100 times your actual usage 🤦🏻 ♂️🤦🏻 ♂️).

4. Seems to be abandoned in 2018.Very functional app, easy to use, nice widget and no need to vpn; but please make it accurate because I just used 150MB as my network provider send me sms but this app show it 450MB it is so different.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Data Usage Issues

1. Fix Data Usage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Data Usage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Data Usage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Data Usage" » Open Data Usage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Data Usage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Data Usage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Data Usage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Data Usage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Data Usage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Data Usage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Data Usage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Data Usage then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Data Usage not working


2. Fix Data Usage Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Data Usage be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Data Usage not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Data Usage may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
