1. You can't select which monitors to view like with the desktop version or with any other remote viewer.Gets the job done but not allowing full screen or auto scaling and just doing zoom and sliding makes this not as good as almost all the competition that has this option on mobile.Really, REALLY bad on Chromebook.

2. Guess I'll be finding an alternative solutionPaid for my screen connect license, then they release an update that breaks the app so cannot connect to anything with mobile device now!!!!Android works, the permission request is quite slow to appear.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ConnectWise ScreenConnect Issues

1. Fix ConnectWise ScreenConnect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ConnectWise ScreenConnect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ConnectWise ScreenConnect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ConnectWise ScreenConnect" » Open ConnectWise ScreenConnect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ConnectWise ScreenConnect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ConnectWise ScreenConnect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ConnectWise ScreenConnect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ConnectWise ScreenConnect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ConnectWise ScreenConnect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ConnectWise ScreenConnect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ConnectWise ScreenConnect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ConnectWise ScreenConnect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ConnectWise ScreenConnect not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ConnectWise ScreenConnect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ConnectWise ScreenConnect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ConnectWise ScreenConnect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
